Billy Squier
William Haislip Squier (Wellesley, Massachusetts, 12 de maio de 1950) ou mais conhecido como Billy Squier, é um músico estadunidense de rock. Provavelmente, é mais conhecido por seu sucesso "The Stroke" do álbum de 1981 Dont Say No. Entre outros sucessos, podemos citar "In the Dark", "Rock Me Tonite", "Lonely Is the Night", "My Kinda Lover", "Everybody Wants You", "All Night Long" e "Emotions in Motion" e a melancólica homenagem a John Lennon, "Nobody Knows".

Biografia
Início
Começou a tocar piano e guitarra muito jovem, mas não se realizou completamente na música até que descobriu Eric Clapton. Quando completou nove anos de idade, seu avô lhe ensinou a tocar piano. Tomou lições de seu avô durante dois anos. Depois das lições de piano, Squier se viu interessado na guitarra de um vizinho e a comprou por $95. Squier fez aulas de guitarra por dois meses e decidiu se dedicar totalmente à música, quando tinha 15 anos.
