A faixa título foi o quarto single de Sweat a chegar ao topo da parada de R&B; mais dois singles "I Want To Love You Down" e "Why Me Baby" também entraram para as 20 melhores de R&B. Também apresenta a canção "There You Go (Tellin' Me No Again)", que apareceu originalmente na trilha sonora do filme New Jack City alguns meses antes. Em 21 de Fevereiro de 1992, Keep It Comin' foi certificado como disco de platina pela Recording Industry Association of America, pelos envios de um milhão de cópias as lojas nos Estados Unidos.[4] Este viria a ser o último álbum onde Sweat colaboraria com o produtor de longa data Teddy Riley até Just Me foi lançado 16 anos depois.
