Obed

Obed (português europeu) ou Obede (português brasileiro), é um personagem do Antigo Testamento da Bíblia, mencionado como filho de Boaz e de Rute. De acordo com o livro de Rute, Obed teria sido criado por Noemi, sogra de Rute, tornando-se pai de Jessé e avô do rei Davi. (Rute 3:9–13; Rute 4:10).[1]
