É um peixe de clima tropical e bentopelágico.[5]

Distribuição geográfica

É encontrado no Oceano Pacífico Ocidental: Japão, nas Filipinas, Indonésia e Nova Guiné.[5][7][8][9][10][11]

Observações

É inofensivo para os humanos.[5]
