Robert Jacobus Forbes

Robert Jacobus Forbes ou Robert James Forbes (Breda, 21 de abril de 1900 – Haarlem, 13 de janeiro de 1973) foi um químico e historiador da ciência neerlandês, professor de história da ciência aplicada e tecnologia da Universidade de Amsterdã.

Durante sua época de atividade Forbes foi internacionalmente reconhecido como historiador da tecnologia,[1] recipiente da primeira Medalha Leonardo da Vinci, a mais significativa condecoração da Society for the History of Technology (SHOT).[2]
