Schizophyta

Schizophyta foi o nome botânico de um grupo segundo os sistemas de Cohn 1875, Engler 1924 e Wettstein 1934; significava o mesmo que Procarionte.

Grupos:

Schizophyceae: As algas azuis (Cyanobacteria).
Schizomycetes: As bactérias.
