O seu roteiro foi vagamente adaptado do romance The Blank Wall de Elizabeth Sanxay Holding. Estreou em competição no Festival de Cinema de Sundance onde o cineasta inglês Giles Nuttgens ganhou o prêmio de Melhor Fotografia.[3]
