Etymology

Learned borrowing from Ancient Greek κύανος (kúanos), also see the Mediaeval Lua error in Module:utilities at line 142: attempt to perform arithmetic on local 'h' (a nil value), from Ancient Greek κῠᾰνοῦς (kuanoûs)/κῠᾰ́νεος (kuáneos, adjective) from κύανος (kúanos, noun).[1] Cognate with Mycenaean Greek 𐀓𐀷𐀜 (ku-wa-no) and Tsakonian κουβάνε (kouváne).[2]
