Old Armenian
Etymology
The origin is uncertain. Old Georgian ჯორი (ǯori) is related and is possibly borrowed from Armenian.
Perhaps from Proto-Indo-European *ye/owo-ro- (“yoked animal”), from *yew- (“to tie together, to yoke”), whence Sanskrit यौति (yaúti), युवति (yuváti, “to bind to, to mix”), Lithuanian jáuti (“to mix”).[1][2]
