From earlier सांखळी (sāṅkhḷī), from Prakrit 𑀲𑀁𑀓𑀮𑀺𑀆 (saṃkaliā) (with Middle Indo-Aryan -𑀇𑀓𑀸- (-ikā-)), from Sanskrit शृङ्खल (śṛṅkhala, “chain”). Cognate with Lua error in Module:utilities at line 142: attempt to perform arithmetic on local 'h' (a nil value), Ahirani साकयी (sākyī).
