Inherited from Prakrit 𑀅𑀓𑁆𑀔𑀬 (akkhaya), from Sanskrit अक्षत (ákṣata, “unhurt, not crushed”). Doublet of અક્ષત (akṣat). Cognate to Marathi अख्खे (akhkhe), Konkani अक्खो (akkhô).
