Etymology
Literally, “Pinoy Genius”. From a segment of the same name since 2004, in the nootime show Eat Bulaga!, the longest running variety show in the Philippines. The segment was later succeeded by Word of the Rings and Gimme 5: Laro ng Mga Henyo (literally, “Gimme 5: Game of the Geniuses”) by 2023 after the Eat Bulaga trademark dispute.
