Inherited from Old East Slavic хуи (xui), from Proto-Slavic *xȗjь (“penis”), from Proto-Balto-Slavic *skaujás, from Proto-Indo-European *skowy-ós, from *skwey- (“thorn, needle, prickle”).[1][2] Cognate with Russian хуй (xuj).
