(something revealing bias): Coined by players of Among Us, in which the imposter can report the body of another player he has just killed, as if having just discovered it guiltlessly.

self-report (plural self-reports)

1. A kind of survey or questionnaire in which respondents read the questions and select responses by themselves, without researcher interference.
2. (colloquial) Something said by someone with the purpose of conveying a neutral stance on a subject but unintentionally leading to that person's bias being revealed.

   His constantly talking about rape laws was a bit of a self-report.
