Non-Fungible Tokens. Collectable digital artefacts associated with specific coins (specific units of money).
Units of money in a currency usually have the property of fungibilty. Two units of equal face-value are treated as equally desirable and of equal actual value in transactions.
Non-Fungible tokens do not have that property. Some people compare NFTs to collectible products such as trading cards. These can often be bought at a fixed price but some may develop a higher value.
