  • Em 1949, a Monogram Pictures lançou um total de 36 filmes.
  • Com Sky Dragon, chegou ao fim a série de Charlie Chan, vivido por Sidney Toler e, posteriormente, por Roland Winters (que continuou no estúdio).
  • Outra despedida foi a do cowboy Jimmy Wakely, que atuou em 28 faroestes a partir de 1944.
  • Whip Wilson, cowboy que portava um revólver do lado direito e um laço do lado esquerdo do corpo, foi uma estreia tardia na exausta seara dos faroestes B. Mas a série durou até 1952.
  • Kirby Grant viveu um oficial da Polícia Montada e suas aventuras na região do Yukon, em uma série que se estendeu até 1954, com 7 produções na Monogram e 3 na Allied Artists.
  • Outra estreia foi a de Bomba, The Jungle Boy, imitação barata de Tarzan. Ele foi o herói de uma série que durou até 1955, já na Allied Artists. Foram produzidas 12 aventuras, 8 delas na Monogram. Bomba foi vivido por Johnny Sheffield, então com 18 anos, famoso por ter sido o "Boy" de vários filmes do Rei das Selvas.
  • Raymond Walburn foi o protagonista de uma série cômica com Henry Latham, um homem comum vivendo histórias do tipo "para toda a família". Foram produzidos 5 filmes entre 1949 e 1951.[1]
