  • Em 1938, a Monogram Pictures lançou um total de 32 filmes.
  • Estreias de Tim McCoy e do cowboy cantor Tex Ritter no estúdio; enquanto o primeiro fez quatro filmes e foi embora, Ritter ficaria até 1941.
  • Mr. Wong, Detective marcou a estreia da série com o detetive sino/americano Mr. Wong. A série teve um total de seis filmes, cinco dos quais estrelados por Boris Karloff. Quando ele saiu, a Monogram tentou continuá-la com Keye Luke no papel do mais jovem Jimmy Wong, em Phantom of Chinatown (1941). Não deu certo e a série foi cancelada.[1][2]
